About Paw & Regal
It started with a portrait of a cat who already knew she was royalty.
Paw & Regal is an independent pet living brand from Vancouver, built around one household: two Persian cats, a Doberman, and two mares — and one conviction that shapes everything we make.
The conviction
Pets don’t live in the corner anymore. They live on the sofa, in the portrait above the fireplace, at the centre of the household — but the things made for them are still mostly plastic, primary-coloured, and designed to be hidden or thrown away.
We thought that was backwards. So Paw & Regal makes pet pieces the way furniture is made: composed shapes, honest materials, quiet colours — and a structure where the part that wears out is the part you replace. A scratcher with a refillable core. A cover that washes. A portrait treated like an heirloom instead of a novelty.
How we work
Everything begins as a prototype at home — connectors and fittings are modelled, printed and revised in our own workshop until two Persians and a Doberman have failed to destroy them. Only then does a piece earn a small production run. It is slower. It is also why the collection is short.
Our portraits came first, and they set the standard: individual attention, proof before final, nothing shipped that we wouldn’t hang ourselves.
